Ariana Grande has spoken out against the White House\u2019s use of one of her songs on a video promoting the administration\u2019s immigration policy.<\/p>\n

The 14-second-long video posted on TikTok on Tuesday shows officers, including ICE agents, handcuffing and arresting people. According to the BBC, the video had Grande\u2019s 2024 song \u201cBye\u201d playing over it. The sound has since been removed.<\/p>\n

The video is captioned: \u201cBye-bye \ud83d\udc4b President Trump has delivered the most secure border in history.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Thursday, Grande commented on the TikTok video, writing: \u201cPlease do not use my music in relation to this barbaric, inhumane, heinous nonsense.\u201d Her remark appears to have been hidden.<\/p>\n

In response to Grande\u2019s comment, the White House told CNN in an email on Friday that White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson said: \u201cWe\u2019ll say this one last time: what\u2019s actually barbaric, inhumane, and heinous are the criminal illegal \u200caliens \u2060who have injured and murdered innocent American citizens.\u201d<\/p>\n

The \u201cWicked\u201d star has spoken out previously about her political views, and wore an \u201cICE OUT\u201d pin at the Golden Globes in January.<\/p>\n

CNN has reached out to Grande\u2019s representatives for further comment.<\/p>\n

President Donald Trump has previously attracted the ire of musicians like ABBA, Adele, and John Fogerty, the lead singer of Creedence Clearwater Revival, for using their music at campaign rallies.<\/p>\n

It is also not the first time a star has hit out at Trump for using their music on videos of federal officers arresting people.<\/p>\n

A video posted to the White House and Department of Homeland Security Instagram accounts encouraging people to \u201cLEAVE NOW and self-deport\u201d featured the song \u201cAll-American B****\u201d by Olivia Rodrigo, according to media reports.<\/p>\n

Rodrigo reportedly responded by commenting on the Instagram post: \u201cdon\u2019t ever use my songs to promote your racist, hateful propaganda.\u201d The comment has subsequently been deleted, and the sound was removed from the video.<\/p>\n
