PHOENIX \u2014 A man is seriously hurt after a shooting at a house party Friday night in west Phoenix.<\/p>\n

Phoenix police say they were called to the home near 99th<\/sup> Avenue and Broadway Road around 10:30 p.m. for a reported shooting.<\/p>\n

When officers arrived, witnesses told them two groups exchanged gunfire as the gathering was breaking up.<\/p>\n

\u201c(Bullets) rattled my house. I was in my back bedroom, and you heard the rattle,\u201d said Kelli Kirk, a neighbor who was right next to the house party when the shooting started. \u201cI knew instantly it hit my house.\u201d<\/p>\n

Those bullets were blowing holes through Kirk\u2019s home and right into her 19-year-old son\u2019s room.<\/p>\n

A 21-year-old man was reportedly hit by the gunfire and was driven to the hospital.<\/p>\n

The man is in critical but stable condition.<\/p>\n

Police say no suspects are in custody at this point.<\/p>\n

The shooting remains under investigation.<\/p>\n

Kirk is now moving her son to another room in the house. She is just thankful he was not there that night.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s scary, I mean, stray bullets would kill him. Just thinking about his future, and what if he was here? What would he have done?\u201d said Kirk.<\/p>\n
