SUPERIOR, AZ — State Route 87 has partially reopened near Sunflower after being closed on Wednesday afternoon due to a fire called the Round Valley Fire.

Fire crews are in the area, near mile marker 214, battling a fire that has grown to about 30 acres.
Lanes in both directions were closed but have since reopened, according to the Arizona Department of Transportation.

The cause of the fire is under investigation; however, video obtained by ABC15 shows a car fire and explosion in the area.
