PHOENIX (KNXV) — A crash between a semi-truck and a car left a woman dead and a man critically inured Wednesday, according to Phoenix Police.

Police say they responded to the intersection of 55th Avenue and Van Buren Street at around 2:30 p.m. and found two people with critical injuries.

Both were transported to the hospital where the woman was pronounced dead while the man remains in critical condition.
